About
I was born in Moscow. Grew up in Moscow…
When I was a second year student of Moscow Institute
of Aviation I really wanted to quit and become an Art
student. But people in my group were so wonderful that I
couldn’t say bye to them.
Anyway, after graduation I worked at the Department 301 of
the Institute for 6 (!) years. But even then I couldn’t
figure out how planes fly! So it was time for change.
I dreamt of becoming a Costume Designer. My dream came
true when I finished Drama College and started work for
Slava Zaitsev at the Fashion House (Dom Mody). Those were
happy 6 years!
But then again it was time to move on, do something
different. After my second child, a son, was born, I made my
mind and became a freelance and interior
designer. Many years have passed since but I’ve never
regretted that decision.
I worked with leather. Successfully, I hope. One of
my hats was chosen as a symbol of Berlin Winter Fair at the
beginning of 1990.
And then I fell in love with dolls. Making them.
Decorating them.
Now I’ve got a big collection of hand made dolls. I
wouldn’t even consider selling them before but now… maybe
it’s time to let them go?
I’d be delighted to know what YOU think about it.
Looking forward to your letters and comments.
